Random Acts of Kindness Week

All children in school participated in doing ‘random acts of kindness’ for our local community.

Some children baked cakes or biscuits for local shops and toddler groups.  Others make some ‘cheerful’ pictures for passers by.  Some key stage 2 children handed out dog biscuits, and poop scoop bags to dog walkers on the prom!! The children all learned a valuable lesson in being kind to others, and hopefully, we will have brightened someone’s day!

At Manor Beach we take a pride in being an active part of our community.  We do various things in and around Cleveleys such as carol singing around the Christmas tree every Christmas.  We also take part in the Thornton-Cleveleys Gala each year, with a float and our cheerleaders!  We like to help out our local community and have done a lot of work with the Wyre Rangers trying to raise awareness of how to keep our beach clean.

Banardos Easter Fundraiser

Children in school participated in a fundraiser for Banardos in Cleveleys, by drawing an Easter picture for their window.  Customers could then pay a donation to vote for their favourite! Which one is your favourite?
